Christian grooms — Checked Before It Appears
In a Kerala Christian alliance it is usually the groom’s side that opens the conversation, which means his family does the reading first — parish, household, standing — before anyone is approached. Chavara Matrimonial exists to make that reading possible well beyond the circle of people they already know.
Chavara Matrimonial has been the front door to ChavaraMatrimony.com long enough that most Kerala parishes know the name — and a name the other family already recognises is worth more than any amount of profile polish.
What the profiles tell you
A groom’s profile leads with employment and education, because that is what the bride’s family will ask about first, followed by parish, home town and the standing of his family. Where he works abroad, the visa or residency status is stated rather than hinted at.
How the search works
Registration is free, and a groom’s family can search and shortlist for as long as it takes without paying anything. The membership matters only at the point of the first approach — which, in practice, is the point where the family has already made up its mind.
Profiles are hosted on ChavaraMatrimony.com, the Chavara Family Welfare Centre service this site belongs to. Also see: Christian Brides.
